Hailing from the scenic beauty of the Columbia River Gorge, Speedqueen Underground was formed out of the ashes of two other bands. Their music is inspired by "a myriad of influences, but primarily the bi-product of our world view and lurid imaginations."

SQU is made up of five friends looking for a distraction from day to day life in the rat race. The result is a satyrical pop-punk rock show with enough groove to keep the dance floor moving.
