NEW! SQU playing with Portland's Throwback Suburbia at River City Saloon.

1-10-10 ::: Speedqueen Underground will be playing at River City Saloon on Saturday, January 30, at 9 PM, and will be followed by Portland band Throwback Suburbia at 11 PM. This promises to be a GREAT show!!

Unfortunately, the show scheduled for February 20 at Double Mountain will be cancelled, as one of our members will be undergoing knee surgery soon after the River City show.

Holiday Acoustic Show at Double Mountain

12-19-09 ::: SQU will be playing a mix of holiday classics, alternative covers and original music at Double Mountain Pub on Saturday, Dec 19, at 7 PM. Family friendly event. Admission is FREE!

SQU to Headline 6th Annual Hops Fest

9-11-09 ::: Speedqueen Underground will be headlining this years Hood River Hops Fest entertainment lineup on October 3rd in Downtown Hood River. Come enjoy beers from over 2 dozen Northwest breweries, along with food, arts booths, and other attractions. SQU to play from 7-9 PM. All ages are welcome to this family friendly festival and admission is free.

Halloween Party at Double Mountain

9-11-09 ::: SQU will be playing a Halloween Party at Double Mountain Brewing in Hood River on Oct. 31st. Start working on your costume now!! Admission is free.

Neon Cruise Party set for August 7

5-12-09 ::: Columbia Gorge Broadcasting and Taco del Mar will be hosting a huge outdoor party at the corner of East 2nd and Madison in The Dalles for the Neon Cruise on Friday, August 7th. Rumor has it that Taco del Mar will be providing a beergarden with food, and CGB will be providing the entertainment, with yours truly. This promises to be one Hell of a party!

SQU to play River City/Naked Winery Street Party on June 14

5-11-09 ::: River City Saloon and The Naked Winery are joining forces to host a street dance on Sunday, June 14, featuring SQU. More details are to follow.

Vault show added for May 29

5-10-09 ::: SQU has added a show to the calendar. We will be playing at The Vault in The Dalles on Friday, May 29. Come and enjoy the new look and non-smoking atmosphere that has helped turn The Vault into one of the premiere venues in the Gorge. Be prepared to pay a meager cover charge.

SQU to rock Everybody's Brewing for Spring Fest.

4-29-09 ::: SQU will be returning to Everybodys' Brewing in White Salmon on Saturday, May 30. Spring Fest will be in full effect just 1 block away, so expect it to be a crowded night! As usual, there is no cover at Everybody's, so you can spend your hard-earned money on 1 more beer! Show starts at 8:30 PM, and should last until 1 AM.

Bynum now fronting Speedqueen Underground

12-1-08 ::: SQU fell off the map last July after founding member and vocalist Guy Bowie opted to leave the band. But, SQU had a new frontman in less than a week, in the form of local legend Matt Bynum. Matt brings a level of showmanship previously unseen in SQU, and has helped to elevate the band to new heights. Look to see some new SQU originals in the near future capitalizing on Matt's lyrical genius.
